just got back from plainsunset's show and i cannot be any happier. they played all my favorite songs and 'River' (one of their newer songs) which made me miss Singapore oh-so-much. i found it funny how my brother and i were the only ones screaming our heads off and singing along way too loudly. my brother even brought my copy of The Gift and made them sign it. silly really. see!

i also bought their re-packaged 2nd album love songs for the emotionally wounded just because the shirts available sucked. i wanted the green one which they sold during their The Gift album launch but they apparently don't sell it anymore. bleh.

i really don't know what to blog about so i'll end it here.

update: 1.19pm

i'm still hungover from their show. a friend once asked if i liked plainsunset just because they're a bunch of eye-candy and i think i almost choked on my pizza. if you saw them you wouldn't regard them as eye-candy. it's their music that i fell in love with. may and i went to 'The Gift' album launch not knowing who the hell they were. i dragged her along just because the gig said entrance was $15 inclusive of their CD. i love bargains. anyways, once they got on stage may and i suddenly found ourself singing along despite not really knowing the lyrics (we were decyphering them as the night went on). the moshpit was crazy and we left instant fans. it's understandable why plainsunset is one of the most respected bands in the singapore scene. you can hardly be part of the scene without having gone to a plainsunset show or at least have heard of them. they've been around for so long (about 10 years) and people have yet to tire of their music. lovely.

i shall eat now.
